Try to plan your move
well in advance |
 |
Have a good clear out
- throw out old paint tins; sort out what has been lurking in the loft
for years ! |
 |
Keep your removal
company informed of any possible dates or changes in your situation |
 |
If you are packing
yourselves, pack non-essential items first, this prevents opening up
100 boxes if you do not move on the intended day |
 |
Clearly label and
secure both top and bottom of all boxes |
 |
Spread the weight of
heavy items over several boxes |
 |
Bedroom chests of
drawers may stay full as long as they are sturdy – remove anything
very personal/fragile. |
 |
Make sure all kitchen
appliances / computers have been disconnected before the removal day |
 |
Dismantle any items
which were agreed |
 |
If there are parking
restrictions, let the Police or Council know |
 |
Do not pack teapot,
kettle, milk, sugar or mugs - it's thirsty work ! |
 |
Open the door for
SAMSON & SONS to move you !! |
